From a two-man site team to a full-service construction house
Nathan Shelters was founded in Chennai by J. Viswanathan and V. Sathyanathan on a simple premise: clients deserve a builder who treats every project like it's their own home. What began as a small building-construction outfit has grown into a full-service company spanning apartment construction, interior fit-outs, and land advisory.
Every project we take on — from an independent villa to a G+3 apartment complex like Metro Hi-Tech Residency — is managed by our own in-house engineers, not outsourced contractors. That accountability is why so much of our work comes from referrals.

2011
Nathan Shelters Founded
Started as a small building-construction outfit in Chennai, built on referrals and hand-finished work.
2015
First Apartment Complex
Expanded into multi-storey apartment construction, delivering our first G+2 residential project.
2019
Interior Works Division
Launched a dedicated interior fit-out team to offer full turnkey homes, not just structures.
